Equipotential Surface
The surfaces in which every point has equal potential all over its surface is called Equipotential Surface.
Properties of Equipotential Surface
1. Every point on the surface has equal.
2. No work is required to move a charge from one point to another on a Equipotential Surface.
3. The direction of electric field on a Equipotential Surface is always perpendicular to the surface.
4. No two Equipotential Surface can never intersect each other if they intersect each other then at that point there will be two different directions of electric field at that point.
